Pediatrics
There are a number of pediatric diagnoses that can benefit from the services of our highly trained pediatric physical therapists.
Pediatric physical therapy is a specialized area of rehabilitation care that deals with both congenital (conditions children are born with) and non-congenital diagnoses.
Some of the conditions that we have experience treating are: Brachial Plexus Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Dysfunction Of Sensory Integration, Orthopedic Conditions, Plagiocephaly, Scoliosis, Torticollis.
Home Care
Inspire Physical Therapy’s home physical therapy is for our community members that prefer to have their physical therapist come to their home. We bring needed physical therapy services right where they are most needed – we provide rehabilitation services and care coordination onsite at home.
TMJ Physical Therapy
Temporomandibular disorder (TMD), is a term that describes an entire group of disorders involving the temporomandibular joint or joints (TMJ). The TMJs are the jaw joints. There is one on each side of your head just in front of your ear canals. One or more of the above tissues can cause symptoms.
Since physical therapists treat muscle and joint problems, they are ideally suited to address a TMD. Moreover, a majority of patients diagnosed with TMD, also have associated neck pain. Both respond well to treatment provided by a physical therapist. No other healthcare practitioner is better suited to address both the TMD and neck pain.
